Motivated Geomatics Engineering undergraduate at Kathmandu University with strong interests in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Land Administration, Cartography and WebGIS development. District boundary polygons were simplified using the Douglas-Peucker algorithm (tolerance = 0.01°) to reduce vertex count and ensure lightweight, performant web rendering. Validity checks performed in QGIS prior to GeoJSON export. Data sources: Department of Tourism (DoT) 2025, National Population and Housing Census (NPHC) 2021.
